DSLR Video Fastpack 350 AW (Black) is rated out of 5 by 7.Rated 4 out of 5 by SX2002 from This product has good features...but! I really love this back pack. it fits all my gear very well...there is one exception however. Like most photography bags, packs, etc, the facility for carrying my tripod is not at all efficient and seems more like an afterthought. When the sock is unfolded and my tripod is in place, I can no longer stand my back-pack on the ground as the tripod in its container sticks out proud of the base. Also, the adjustable strap is not really very good as even when done up tight, my tripod still moves around a lot.Date published: 2013-09-15Rated 4 out of 5 by hurricanehank from Good backpack I have been using this backpack for 1.5 years now and I can rate it as "Good and reliable". The main reason choosing this model was large notebook compartment. It fits my 17.3" Dell with extended battery + Canon 7D + Canon 70-200 f/2.8 + 2 flashes + 2 lenses + chargers, batteries and much more. It seems like the bag is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Carrying the backpack is not a problem except belt strap, that could be bothering some time while I don't use it What I like: - Laptop compartment - Camera compartment - Quality of materials - Comfortable fit - Quality of build What I don't like: - Belt strap - Top compartment could be bigger to fit more stuff like my clothes etc. - Notebook compartment zip is not convenient to use when you pull large notebook out or try to fit it inDate published: 2013-09-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Frank1954 from Great bag, safely fits all my gear and has a large enough top compartment to fit my noise cancelling head phones I love this bag! I can safely pack all of my gear - DSLR - 3 lenses one of them a 70 to 300 zoom - full size flash unit - digital camcorder - all of the chargers and cables The tripod holder is a must. The built in rain cover is a great idea, can't misplace or lose it The large upper compartment is great for long trips. I can put my noise canceling headphones, snacks, passport, travel documents, etc. in there and still have roomDate published: 2013-10-19Rated 5 out of 5 by Seisteve from Best Laptop bag every... wait its a camera bag right? I truly have been converted... when I seriously upgraded my Camera I wanted a bag that would allow me to take it with me anytime any place. This bag is perfect for that and did not cost a fortune. A typical working day requires the Laptop and all the power supplies, speakers, hard drives and peripherals all packed without a struggle and the camera safely in place. Two night stop over can easily include the pack the laptop, camera and a change of essentials plus my small wash bag ensures Airport travel is just so easy. And finally the weekend when the computer peripherals are left on the desk and load the lenses and grips and the Camera and laptop are always at hand and in all circumstances the camera is accessible with the swing action by releasing one arm strap and unzipping the side access. The final confirmation for me was the rain cover which in a recent downpour and flood ensuring that the bag and equipment stayed dry and I did not have to unpack and dry the bag on the radiator. I have traveled over 70% of my life and in those years this is the best every bag I have had to support the lifestyle I lead. So why the reduced mark after gushing about this bag so much.... the zips need to be locked down or hidden when closed so that I do not worry in crowds about someone opening then as I travel. For me this is the ultimate Laptop bag... no Camera bag.Date published: 2013-09-16Rated 4 out of 5 by GVS61 from A solid useful bag for all my camera materials and more When I decided to buy a bigger camera bag, I noticed some of the additional features of this bag: - laptop pocket - small pouch in storage compartment - place to put your tripod I like these extra's as it helps me to minimize my handluggage. The Fastpack is very reasonable in price and I believe that it is worth buying.Date published: 2013-10-02Rated 4 out of 5 by Cosmonaut from Nice for full frame I used the Fastpact 250 for several years with various Olympus cameras but a couple of years ago I went full frame with the a99. I found it very hard to find the perfect bag for hiking with my a99 with the grip attached. Every bag I looked at wasn't deep enough or was just way to big. But I saw this bag on sale at Amazon for half price so I jumped all over it knowing how well the 250 served me. Once floating out on the surf at the beach. My camera survived the pounding waves for me to retrieve it. The 350 is perfect for my a99 plus grip and three big Zeiss lenses, Z pro filter system, remote timer, laptop or IPad and many places for other things like my GPS, batteries, SD cards ect. If you are full frame and having the same problem I had don't hesitate. Other than a way to carry a tripod the bag is perfect. It's very well built and will last a long time. I still have my 250 and use it for a smaller system. I would have gave it five stars for tripod straps but other than that this is a wonderful top notch backpack.Date published: 2013-10-02Rated 5 out of 5 by aerospace from This bag is exactly as described. I purchased this bag for an upcoming trip and took it on a weekend trip to check it out. It fit my Nikon D4 with a 70-200mm f2.8 attached with no problem and an SB900 flash unit. I was also able to store my 24-70mm f2.8 lens in the upper compartment. It is an easy bag to wear and when I wanted access to my camera, I only needed to take it off my right shoulder, swing it around and unzip the compartment. It's light, easy to wear and for a day of either street photography or light hiking this bag will fit the need.Date published: 2014-03-18

How to repair a small hole in my DSLR video pack 350 AWHi, I accidentally ripped a small hole in my DSLR video pack 350 AW and I was wondering how to repair it. What is the material the outside of the pack is made of? Is it cordura? Can I use a cordura patch? Or should I use something else? Thanks, GyorgyThere’s an online company called Tear-Aid http://www.tear-aid.com/. Their fabric type patch should work for small holes or tears. I would put a piece on the exterior (and interior surface if accessible).Date published: 2013-10-03
