Fastpack 350 is rated out of 5 by 11.Rated 5 out of 5 by CLaw from Carries & protects all I need I have owned this pack for 5 years and it has traveled around the globe with me multiple times. It holds all the gear I need with two DSLRs and decent sized pro lenses along with speedlights, radio triggers, accessories, batteries, chargers, and not to mention a large laptop. Not only does it have plenty of space for my kit but the spacious top compartment leaves room for everything from travelling with books and an extra layer of clothing to extra gear or HDDs. In all the time I've owned it and travelled regularly it has held up well not allowing my gear to suffer damage despite the odd knock or extreme weather. I really couldn't be happier.Date published: 2013-09-20Rated 4 out of 5 by VJ84 from Great travel backpack I bought this backpack before a one month vacation across 6 cities. The backpack was great because it let me carry both my laptop and my camera gear without having to carry 2 bags and avoid issues with airlines that do not allow 2 carry-ons. The backpack was very comfortable to carry all day and the side access drop is awesome. The additional storage in the top compartment was great for carrying sandwiches, rain jackets, laptop charger and more. I did miss the tripod carrier that the newer transit backpack and DSLR video backpack come with. All in all the backpack is good but go for the newer models if you are considering buying a camera backpack.Date published: 2013-09-17Rated 5 out of 5 by gregak from It fits perfectly I have bought this backpack two years ago. I used him on my trekking in nature and on the mountain bike. So far I had no problems with its ergonomics. It fits well on my back and I fill stable and confident while wearing it. Camera is easy accessible from the side. Usually I put in my bag one dslr 60d body with 17-50mm and 70-200 f4 lens. At first I did not know what to do with the tripod, but later find a solution. I managed to attach it on the side. Few times I also put in my laptop. So far I had no problems. Zippers are still working as being new and it looks that it is very well built and robust. I definitely recommend.Date published: 2013-09-17Rated 5 out of 5 by D444 from Great unobtrusive backpack for carrying camera gear safely around Europe I have used this excellent, versatile backpack now for many trips around Europe. The Fastpack 350 fits within most airlines hand luggage dimensions and holds everything you could need for travel photography. I carry my Canon EOS 6D fitted with EF 24 - 105mm f4L lens and hood, together with Canon 430 EXII Speedlite flashgun and accessories in the well padded camera compartment. My tablet and A4 papers fit easily into the back compartment, with the top compartment used for mobile phone, sunglasses, passport, tickets and other essential items for the trip ahead. All my equipment is easy to access and secure, without being obvious to anyone else that the backpack contains expensive gear. The only thing missing is the All Weather (AW) cover, although this is available on the DSLR Video Fastpack 350 AW. Having been taking photographs for over 35 years, this is definitely the best bag that I have owned, hence why it accompanies me on most of my trips. I have just purchased the DSLR Video Fastpack 150 AW for my son who is just getting interested in photography as he liked mine so much..Date published: 2013-09-29Rated 5 out of 5 by Atanu from Perfect bag for my valuable gear I am using the Fastpack 350 for last 1 year. All my gear like Nikon D7000 with extra lenses and 14" HP laptop, Sony handycam etc. is fitted perfectly. It has a plenty of place inside the bag. I can easily pull out my camera very fast with the side cover. The padding is just great. I feel very tension less as my gears are in a very safe place. Now it comes to comfort of carrying the bag with all the gears. I never feel any pain on my shoulder. I use to travel lots of remote places for my office work and I always carry all my gears with me. Use it to feel it.Date published: 2013-11-27Rated 5 out of 5 by realistgva from Great for my gear to walk around This is my go to bag to walk around. It has enough room for my lenses and 2 pro level camera body with grip. The bag is fully loaded when I take it around. usually it weight more than 10km in that case it is still comfortable to walk around with. Having owned this bag for 3 years I can confirm that it is very well built and robust . There is very little wear on mine. It could be a little larger for my gear if there was a 450 I would probably buy this. The only minor complaint would be about the mesh pocked. I use it to store a water bottle and more than once the bottle has fallen out.Date published: 2013-09-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Metaconcert from Good and reliable camera backpack. I purchased my Fastpack 350 three years ago. I've been using it daily since then. The only damage on it is the water bottle net because I'm using it to hold my tripod. In the camera compartment, I have a Nikon DSLR camera with battery grip and a 18-105mm lens. I have a second DSLR camera body and a Finepix HS10 30x camera. Added to that, I have a 55-300mm and 18-55mm lenses. To finish, I have an SB-910 AF flash. All this equipment in the camera section. In the front bottom pouch, I keep extra batteries, cables, memory cards and lens filters. In the little top pouch, I keep extra keys, money, and other small items. In the top compartment, I have my wallet, two water bottles, energy bars, my glasses in it's compartment, pens and other items. In the back compartment, I have a paper pad and other office products. I tie my tripod to the top handle. With all this equipment, it is still comfortable to carry. This bag as followed me daily where ever I go, from the office to the mountains. If I need my camera, I can easily have it in hand within seconds, that's how easily accessible it is. It would be nice if Lowepro would create a bigger version of this backpack because I am planning to get two more lenses and a microphone. I would be the first one to purchase a 450 or 500 version of it.Date published: 2013-12-30Rated 4 out of 5 by Travis from Great but large bag This is a very large bag and holds a lot. The only thing missing which is disappointing is the tripod mount. The new series has that so I would go with the new series.Date published: 2013-09-20
