Hello, The Event Messenger 250 is too small for the gear that you have listed. For your setup, we would recommend you take a look at the Nova Sport 35L: http://store.lowepro.com/nova-sport-35l-aw

Although the event messenger 150 is not AW, how waterproof is it? or is it not waterproof at all?

Asked by: derMc
Hello, The Event Messenger is not waterproof. If you are looking for products that are water resistant, you should check out all of our offerings with All Weather (AW) covers. Here is a listing of our shoulder bags that have water resistant materials and AW covers: http://store.lowepro.com/shoulder-bags?features_lowepro=195

I have a Pro Messenger 180 but find it much to heavy to carry. Will this bag hold my ungripped Canon 7D with 70-200 attached and a Canon 400mm f/5.6 in another partition. I think the 400 might be a tad too high but if I can close the bag I'm OK with it.

Asked by: ChristineR
Hello, You are correct, the size of the 400 would be too large for us to consider that a fit. You should take a look at our new Urban Reporter products that are similar to the Pro Messenger but use a lighter weight material: http://store.lowepro.com/shoulder-bags/urban-reporter-350

Nikon D700 and 28-70 2.8 AFS hood reversed

Hi, I would like to carry a Nikon D700 with 28-70 2.8 AFS hood reversed, or alternatively a 20-35 2.8 (smaller). The camera has one of these lens attached and the other aside, ready to swap. Also, I need to carry a SB-900. Can this bag hold all, or should I look at Urban Reporter line? Thank you.
Asked by: Andy63
That's ok to carry this set - I carry d800 without grip and 70-200 f/2.8, 50 f/1.8 and sb-900 flash and there is more place to hold one another small lens, so yes - this bag will hold all.
