Reviews
Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable and affordable for every purpose Among lots of bags of Lowepro and other brands I find this one most suitable and perfect match for the variety of needs for a event photographer and also traveller. It works as moderate size back pack for person of any body structure to lift and carry. Regarding the accommodation it allows maximum flexibility for dslr pro, three/four lenses, flash, accessories and also accommodates a laptop upto 15". The most remarkable thing is it doesn't loose balance on back or even on one shoulder or kept on any rough and tough surface. It is waterproof under normal circumstances and has a perfect material strength. The unique feature of the bag is multi-purpose pockets and transversal zips with full zip cover. The not small not large back is must for all professionals and amateurs . September 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best so far I've been using the fastpack 250 since 2009 now and pretty much every day, I always have my slr with me ( I'm carrying 3rd slr since I got this back). I have been very happy with 250, now I'm buying new one cause zippers are so worn out. Sometimes I wish that top compartment would be bigger, but then again, it wouldn't be big enough anyways, also I'd like to see a bit wider space to accomodate my slr(d800) with 500mm lens. I have have no complaints, and I'm going stick with this brand, next pack will be Fastpack DSLR 350 AW, then I can have a holder for my tripod too. March 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Backpack strap broken after 3 years I put Canon 7D with Grip, 17-50mm canon lens, canon 70-200mm f/4.0, and a speedlight 430 II, and a small laptop (1.2kg in weight). I only use the bag once every 3-4 months. After 3 years of using, the backpack strap on the left hand side is now ripped. It's not the stitches parts, but it's in the middle, as if the quality of the fabric was not thick enough on that particular part. I am thinking of buying a new one, I dont think I want to go with Lowepro anymore.... September 18, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by I was not happy. This is the second LOWEPRO I buy and I was not satisfied with some holes things. The quick access pocket is difficult. The material is on the flexible is not well protected. The bottom of the backpack protects not impact as other models. September 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great pack that holds everything Occasionally I go on trips where I will be taking photos and want to take my gear as well as my laptop. This is the perfect backpack to do so. It can carry a lot and do it comfortably. The only thing I would change about this pack would be to load the laptop into the pack from the top and not the side. Unfortunately, twice I have been distracted while putting my laptop in from the side and forgot to zip it up and ended up hearing a scary, loud crash which turned out being my laptop hitting the floor. Luckily only cosmetic damage occurred and it is my fault. However inserting the laptop from the top would completely prevent this. Otherwise, its a great pack. September 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great bag... I like this bag so much I just bought my second one! I had to leave my first behind when I moved back to the UK and first thing I bought from a new contract was a second Fastpack 250. I can easy fit my working gear - Nikon D2Xs + 20-35, 35-70 and 80-200 f2.8 pro lenses; SB-700 speedlight; iPad, Moleskine, cell phone, GPS and cable plus wallet etc. into the bag. If I need to take my 15" laptop I can get that in as well... I wish it has a AW cover but apart from that... perfect... October 18, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good backpack for camera & laptop Holds all my camera gear and laptop. I use it mostly when I travel. There's a nice little pocket on top to hold small items. I do not use the waist belt. September 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by perfect match to travelling with pro set Among different lowepro bags, I really appreciated the fastpack250 for up-to-10 days trip with typical set made of DSLR with 3-lenses set: 17-40, 24-105 and 70-200 + flash. Place 4 a computer and space for other stuff (clothes or jacket in the top part. September 16, 2013

Answer:
The DSLR Video Fastpack is a newer bag than the Fastpack 250 and has some cable management features in the top compartment for video (headphone mount) that the original Fastpack 250 doesn't.

Both bags are great for both still and video.

Answer:
This bag doesn't come with an All-Weather cover and we do not sell them individually. Our All-Weather covers are actually sewn into the bag during the development of our products.

Configuration of spaces of hte Fastpack 200 and 250

I own a Nikon D90 normally equiped witha a Tamron 18-50 f2.8, a UGA that can go on the space on front of the camera, a Nikon 70-300 VR that I would like to carry on the space below the camera which on photos has a divider and a flash to go on the space over the camera.

My doubt is : the space below the camera, with divider on photos, is spacious enough for the 70-300 VR on the Fastpack 200 and 250 without the divider ?

Answer:
Hello,

You are correct, the size of the Nikon 70-300 would be too large for it to be considered a fit.

We would recommend checking out our online Bagfinder tool to see all of our recommended fits for your configuration:
