Pro Runner BP 450 AW II is rated out of 5 by 11.Rated 5 out of 5 by Gareth16 from Dream Bag I spent a ridiculous amount of time searching for a backpack. I was really set on finding a pack that was all-weather, light, travel sized with a lot of storage and a tripod holder. Thank goodness I found this one. Being able to compare bags was really assuring, I felt much more confident in my purchase.Date published: 2015-09-16Rated 5 out of 5 by BSimpson from Durable and Comfortable I pre-ordered the Pro Runner BP 450 AW II for the purpose of an upcoming photo tour through Banff, AB and the Bugaboo Mountains in BC. I needed a pack to hold two DSLR bodies and 4 lenses as well as my filters and accessories. The pack must also be airline approved, be comfortable as well as being durable. During my first day in the mountains, I used the hidden rain cover to keep the bag dry during the heavy rain. For the remainder of the day it continued to rain lightly, but I left off the protective cover as it limited my access to the inside. I was amazed that at the end of the day, the inside was still mostly dry. (There were a few damp spots where the zippers were at the end of travel or mated with another zipper). On the second day, as I'd be away from the lodge all day I also needed to store my rain-gear as well as my lunch and 1L water bottle. I zipped my rain gear into the laptop/tablet pocket, and removed a Velcro divider or two to store my lunch. Worked great and still had room for all my gear, including a travel tripod clasped to the front. The side pocket easily held my large water bottle. The bag was very comfortable as the adjustable straps let me adjust the distribution of weight across my entire back, not just my shoulders. I really liked the strap lifters on top to keep the bag tight to my back while climbing through the mountains. The padding was thick and comfortable while not feeling hot or building up excessive sweat, even during my third day when the weather was warm (80F) and sunny. The front pockets were great for holding small bottles of sunscreen, bug spray, keys (on the included clip) and cell phone (though I had no reception in the mountains...) My only major criticism was that the water bottle holder is made of a light-weight "elasticy" mesh that started to tear along the bottom of my bottle after placing it on the rocks several times. Perhaps the pocket could have been designed with some reinforcing material on the bottom. The handles on the top and side were great for loading and unloading from the airline's overhead bins or the car. Other than the water bottle pocket, the material held up great to the jagged rocks. Since it is a backpack, you need to place it on the ground to take out any accessories. The color of the material still looks clean even after a good 20+ hours hiking through the mountains.Date published: 2015-08-12Rated 5 out of 5 by WorkshopLeader from Great Design and Quality Manufacturing I teach in the field and lead tours. Purchased the Pro Runner BP 45 AWII to carry 2 full frame Nikon bodies, 6 lenses, speed light and accessories. Easy to configure, great to work with on the go. Ver smart design features with the separate pocket and outside pockets for batteries and cards without opening the pack. Sealed against water and dust, important for my safaris and travels. Comfortable options with or without the belt.Date published: 2017-05-03Rated 5 out of 5 by ByVanvik from Great BackPack I am really happy to have selected this backpack, excellent materials and very comfortable to carry it, I have up to 3 camera bodies, 3 lenses and even a slider, mac pro and my tripod. Always ready. Great BackPackDate published: 2017-05-31Rated 5 out of 5 by LV Action Images from Great bag for the biggest assignments I've used various large bags from Kata to Lowepro and this one is the best for days when you need your gear. I've been able to run two full size bodies, fours lenses, two speedlights and all the odds and ends required for a day shooting. The sides are deep enough to zip around the full sized pro SLR with a grip while another one is placed in the middle with a 70-200 f/2.8. It really does get heavy when loaded to capacity though.Date published: 2017-05-02Rated 5 out of 5 by Ray61 from Perfect Bag for Travels I bought this back several months ago. I've traveled from North Carolina to Montana with my camera equipment in tow. I have my camera, lens, flash, laptop, tablet, and chargers for all including my phone. I still have room for other items that I might need. In my travels, this bag fitted as a carry on in big or small aircraft. Lowepro did an excellent job when they made this bag.Date published: 2017-05-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Kompik from Perfect for my D5 kit Top notch quality materials and craftsmanship. Comfortable on my back even when loaded down with full D5 like kit. Heavy duty zipper on the main compartment. Side (second) handle makes loading/unloading the bag a lot easier. Nice to have the rain cover in its own compartment neatly stored away under the bag.
