Photo Hatchback BP 250 AW II is rated out of 5 by 13.Rated 5 out of 5 by Ginger Duck from Excellent amateurs travel backpack I have been on two European treks with this bag and is is by far the most practical I have used (if not carrying too much photographic gear). It's light, has room for body, three lenses (if not large tele) and odds and ends. It served as my carry on, with iPad and other personal items easily accommodated. When day trekking the top compartment carried food, etc and there are two netted side pockets for drinks. As an additional security feature I pulled the rain cover over the bag when in crowded areas where pickpockets were known to operate. For me, the only thing lacking was a holster for my tripod, but would not be practical anyway on a soft bag like this.Date published: 2017-05-08Rated 5 out of 5 by quintessentiallyQ from Purchased a Second Photo Hatchback because it's that good! I've been using the Photo Hatchback BP 250 for over 3 years now - for everything. It has travelled with me through both wet and dry terrain: through cities and mountains of Asia and Europe, and pretty much everywhere I go. It has transitioned from what was originally a day pack, to being the only travel bag I use for week-long trips. A tough, all-rounder bag with convenient compartments and access, the bag has helped me organise my travel gear to the point that I no longer need anything else, because it holds everything! I once managed to fit a notebook, all my camera gear, shoes, a winter jacket plus all my bottom layers to go from backcountry hiking to urban exploration in a day. Moreover, it is well-padded and comfortable for all day use, weather-tolerant and easy to clean! It has made my travel and work life much lighter and efficient (I'm a freelance writer/photographer)...so much so I recently purchased another one for my partner!Date published: 2017-05-15Rated 5 out of 5 by General536 from Exactly what I was looking for!!!!! I just received my bag and it fits everything I needed to fit! (One 18x55 lens, one 75x300 lens, one canon T5, two batteries, and one charger) Overall great bag! Also the rain cover fits great aswell!Date published: 2016-03-30Rated 5 out of 5 by NunuBox from Useful, comfy, light I bought this bag a few months ago and it's for sure the best bag I've ever had. It's super useful, I can put inside my DSLR, 2-3 lenses and my iPad in the front pocket when I travel. There is also place for small things such as remote control, charger, extra battery, etc. It's super comfortable. As a girl I usually have problems with other bags because a girl's body is different, you understand... But this bag is perfect for me, it perfectly fits to my back and small shoulders, and best of all it's light!Date published: 2017-05-03Rated 5 out of 5 by Tobrew from Excellent travel backpack for the Fuji X system This backpack is not just a camera bag… it’s a multi-purpose bag. By that I mean it carries stuff other than camera gear. I think we are all familiar with camera backpacks that hold nothing but camera gear. They are basically one big compartment with lots of dividers for lenses and bodies. I don’t know about you, but when I travel I like to carry things like a jacket, water bottle, tablet, etc. This bag does both for me and I love it. It fits my MeFoto tripod in the mesh side pocket or top pocket and all of my camera gear in the gear area. I usually carry a Fuji X-T10 with 18-135, 35 f/1.4, and a Rokinon 12mm with ease. Not to mention a charger, batteries, windbreaker, phone chargers, etc. I’m big on traveling as light as possible and being able to carry all of my luggage on the plane. This means that my suitcase goes in the overhead bin and my camera bag goes under the seat. This is important to note, because if you want to actually have room for your feet, you will need a bag that doesn’t take up every inch of the floor in front of you. This Lowepro fits the bill… if just so. There will be just enough room for your feet on either side of the bag or to stretch out both legs together on one side of the bag. It’s not ideal, but it works. You won't be disappointed.Date published: 2017-05-03Rated 5 out of 5 by KeithWebber from Great Backpack for Traveling and Everyday Use I bought this and have brought it with me from Tennessee all the way to Alaska, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Colorado and all over the Smoky Mountains and it is great. Fits on the plane easy, and fits all of my gear and then some and is very comfortable. Fits my 5D Mark III with battery grip, 24-105 attached. I can also fit my 70-200mm in as well as extra batteries, straps, memory cards along with a GoPro and its accessories.Date published: 2017-05-31Rated 5 out of 5 by matthewb from Great for daytrips We just got back from a Europe trip after buying this bag and loved it. It had enough room for two lenses and the camera body (t6i) plus filters etc in the rear storage. The rest of the bag had all the toys/treats/diapers/wipes for our 2 year old. It made a great pack and was extremely comfortable. We've had it for 6 months and have had no issues. Love the stretchy side pockets. You can fit anything in them!Date published: 2017-05-30Rated 5 out of 5 by Karin from Great to use this Hatchback! This Photo Hatchback was a present for my birthday. As a beginning photographer, it is a necessity to bring my camera everywhere for practice. This Hatchback makes it possible to carry my camera and stuff that I use daily. It is very easy in use! As a welcome I received a beeropener from Lowepro.. always nice to have.Date published: 2017-05-04

Hi, great backpack,as i see the dimensions of the camera compartment looks like a D810 Nikon Body and a lens 70-200 2.8 fits inside (no lens attached on body). Am i misunderstood something ? If the D810 body is stored without lens, it may be possible to fit the unmounted 70-200 2.8 in this product.Date published: 2017-07-17
in looking at the BP150 and BP250 in this range is the removable camera section identical in size on both ? as I have tried to fit a Nikon D300 with a 18-200mm lens into the 150 version and it's a no go! wife likes the bag but gear wont fit!!The camera compartment in the BP 250 is about two inches taller than the BP 150. If the combined length of your body and lens is 7.7" or less it should fit.Date published: 2017-07-10
Will it fit a Canon 80d with 70-200mm 2.8, 50mm 1.8, and the 10-18 4.5-5.6?No, the 70-200 would require a larger pack such as our Fastpack BP 250 AW II.Date published: 2017-07-05
Is there any chance that a 13' laptop could fit? love this style but might be a deal breaker if my laptop cannot fit... The Photo Hatchback BP 250 AW does not have a dedicated laptop compartment. There is a dedicated compartment for a 10" tablet. A smaller backpack that will fit a 13" laptop is the Passport Backpack. You may want to look at that one if fitting a laptop is required.Date published: 2016-11-23
What's the difference between the old Hatchback 22L and this backpack? Any reasons to upgrade for an existing Hatchback 22L user?I looked over one of each at my local camera store and couldn't find anything other than color and the older model was around $40 cheaper. I opted for the older version and have been very happy with it. I do carry a monopod and it will fit in the side pockets, but it's loose. Not idea, but it works.Date published: 2016-06-04
Would the 11" Macbook Air fit instead of the 10" Tablet?
I want to know the dimension of the photo compartiment. I need to know if my camera and lens will fit in.
