Rated 5 out of 5 by A Street Photographer's Dream Bag Wow-- what a great bag. Perfect size, fits all of my gear. Lot's of pockets and very customizable. Doesn't really say....there are cameras here...makes the carrying of cameras and lenses very inconspicuous. Material is great -- lot's of compartments. October 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by A lovely bag that performs well. With a few drawbacks. I got this bag on eBay because it was not available in Vancouver BC Canada (it is now). The bag looks awesome. Nice and discreet, when you wear it on the streets the only thing that would make people know that it's a camera bag would be the Lowepro logo on the bag. I own a Nikon D600 with a 20mm 2.8, 28-70 2.8 and a 80-200 2.8 (that giant black cannon), as well as a SB-400 flash, a spare battery, and some filters. And a blow bulb. And I'm quite pleased (or at one point, extremely surprised) to say that they all fit. Even the blow bulb. Everything fits. With a bit of room to spare. I moved the dividers around to accommodate my gears, made sure they all fit and wouldn't shake around and bump into each other. Then I put it onto my shoulder and tried doing a few movements. Immediately some caveats started kicking in. The first problem I noticed was the shoulder pad. Lowepro did a nice job introducing a great angled connector that allows the shoulder strap to reach and angle better. However, they didn't take into account of the size of the strap and, consequently, the size of the removable shoulder pad. The strap was not wide enough to spread the weight, and the shoulder pad, while remaining nicely on my shoulder no matter how much I swung the bag back and forth, focused every bit of the weight of my gears onto a single line over my shoulder. Then I tried doing a quick-draw of my camera --- something I do a lot, when I'm walking on the street and I see something great and I want a shot within seconds. It didn't happen. The bag closes in a very secure way, using two leather straps going through stainless steel loops then buttoning up. It's great if the bag rolled off a ramp or something --- there is no chance for the bag to pop open and spread the gears inside everywhere --- but in normal operation, it took an average of 12 seconds for me to unbutton the straps and remove them from the loops with one hand. Probably would've been faster if I used two hands, but I was working with how I'm used to open my bag. All in all, the bag looks excellent, is very roomy for lots of gears (I suspect one could possibly fit a body with lens attached with 3 other lenses in), and is innovatively designed. It didn't quite work with how I usually operate my camera bag and I honestly couldn't give it a 5/5 in terms of comfort. I would still recommend the bag for those who prefer look and functions over speed and comfort. March 26, 2014
