Transit Sling 250 AW (Grey) is rated out of 5 by 7.Rated 5 out of 5 by Stratus from Great for events I purchased this bag to use for when I wanted a backpack/sling style for events that were cramped in tight areas. I've photographed a few radio shows at restaurants and studios where having a small backpack is just what you need to get the job done. What's so great about the bag is how the bottom camera compartments can adjust to hold a 70-200mm lens. This makes carrying a large lens discreet. The bag setup is similar to my DSLR Fastpack 250 AW, which is very nice where it makes the Transit Sling a mini version of it! The tripod/monopod holder has been a wonderful feature for museum trips and other sightseeing vacations.Date published: 2014-05-25Rated 5 out of 5 by RLNB from Comfort & Practical beats cute! I wasn't sure at first if I would like this as much as I do. I wanted something cute but able to keep all my gear in one place. The grey color is a little dull but after I put it on and started taking pictures I am so glad I purchased this sling. The interchangeable dividers is perfect because I customized my compartments to fit my equipment. Being able to wear my sling and quickly access my camera (without taking off my bag and laying it down somewhere) is priceless! We went on vacation out west and my back never tired wearing it. I even had room to keep my wallet, phone and a few extra personal items. The practicality and comfort of this camera sling beats cute! I LOVE my new sling and you will too!Date published: 2014-03-19Rated 5 out of 5 by rontom25 from Transit Sling 250 AW Results I just purchased my Transit Sling 250 AW for Christmas and just travelled to Europe for the holidays. The transit sling bag was a great purchase and I love to carry my cameras around in it along with my Apple iPad. It makes an easy way for traveling and carrying around my things. I like everything about it!! The one thing I wished would be improved is the slot in the back to put my Apple iPad inside. I wished it was larger and could also store my iPad with it's separate cover. This would be a better designed product for the future with this feature. But, I do like everything else about it. If I come across additional things to be improved, I will write additional items. Thanks again. --Ron T.Date published: 2013-12-26Rated 5 out of 5 by plutas from perfect for my gear and outdoor motions I have long been looking for a product like this. - Question & Answer
Canon 70D with 18-135mm kit lens? Will the Transit Sling 250 AW allow me to store a 70D with the 18-135mm lens attached and use the side access? If not, can you recommend a similar sling model that might?I just bought this bag, and have Canon 70D with the much larger, bulkier 15-85mm USM with hood. With the hood mounted inverted for storage purpose, it's a tight fit but works. The other end of the partition, I can fit a small fast lens (e.g. a 28mm USM (58mm filter dia), or a 50mm STM (49mm filter dia) would fit.Date published: 2016-03-29

I'm wondering if you recommend putting a water bladder in the iPad compartment. I'm able to fit a 32 oz. Platypus bladder and the hose comes out the top and threads through the front strap nicely. Is this compartment waterproof by any chance?Hello, We would advise against adding a water bladder. We would recommend taking a look at our Photo Sport 200 product that has a dedicated water bladder compartment: http://store.lowepro.com/photo-sport-200-awDate published: 2015-01-13
Can this bag be carried on the left or right shoulder? I prefer left, but not sure based on the pictures which side it is designed for. I use a black rapid strap and don't want the bag getting in the way. Will the Canon 5D mark III fit in the side openingHello Colin, The bag is designed to be only worn over the right shoulder. It will fit a Canon 5D Mark III (without grip) in the side opening.Date published: 2014-08-15
I want to use this bag for my Canon 550D with Tamron 150-600mm lens attached to it. My other accessories are 50mm prime / 18-55 zoom / Speedlite 430EX. Should I go ahead with this?Hello, You have one lens too many that we would consider to be a fits for this bag. Your gear will fit into the larger Transit Backpack 350, or you can go without one lens or store your flash in the top compartment: http://store.lowepro.com/transit-backpack-350-awDate published: 2014-06-30
The tablet compartment will fit a Macbook Air 11"?The dimensions of the laptop are: Width: 11.8 inches (30 cm) Depth: 7.56 inches (19.2 cm) Height: 0.11-0.68 inch (0.3-1.7 cm)Hello Rick, Unfortunately the dedicated device pocket is too small to fit a MacBook Air 11". A popular choice for that sized laptop is our DSLR Video Fastpack 150 AW: http://store.lowepro.com/backpacks/dslr-video-fastpack-150-awDate published: 2014-06-09
SideAccess size ?I was wondering what is the side access size ? I looking to see if an Canon 60D with the 18-200mm lens attached would fit through the side access ? ThanksI attached my 75-300 lens to my camera (Canon T3i) and it fit through the side access. You just need to move the dividers around to make the camera secure. You'll have to play around with them but I don't know why you couldn't make it work.Date published: 2014-03-19
Bagfinder can't give me this answerI like the design of this compact slingbag but can i accress my 6D with Batterygrip at the sideaccess? Another question for ur Bagfinder tool. If i at my 6D with 24-70 lens attached ,extra lens medium and a flash then i get the transit 250AW on the results. But when i attach a tripod then this bag is gone at the result page. Why? This bag should carry a tripod right? The battery grip on your 6D will make it too large to access from the side compartment. Yes, the Transit Sling 250 will definitely hold a tripod (medium to small sized).Date published: 2013-12-13
