ProTactic 350 AW is rated out of 5 by 33.Rated 2 out of 5 by Nelly from Frustrating I bought this bag for a trip to Utah - I used it for the plane and hiking. It was very comfortable, light and sturdy but it feels like not enough thought went into it. Since the straps on the side are too small for the accessory pouches to slid into, the water bottle ends up being too far back. There is no handy pocket for a passport or cellphone. The waist belt pockets are too small for anything... loose coins? My previous bag was balanced with the water bottle on one side and the tripod on the other, but on this bag you have to centre the tripod on the back so your water bottle throws the whole thing off.Date published: 2017-03-23Rated 4 out of 5 by Oscar4322 from Great bag This bag is amazing and fits soo much. 5D mk3, 6D, 70-200mm f2.8, 17-40mm, 24-105, 40mm, a couple hard drives, lens cleaners, notepad, macbook pro 13",430EX and 530EX Speedlight! Its crazy. This bag has two downsides. One is this backpack is a little heavy to begin with so you have to watch the weight if you will be travelling with it. Second, the 350AW is a smaller profile so at 5'11" it doesnt quite sit right on my back and is a little less comfortable than the 450AW when fully loaded. Other than that it is a great all around pack I've used all around in the city, on crazy adventures, through rain, snow, in the desert, anywhere!Date published: 2017-05-03Rated 4 out of 5 by Groop from Great features. Good fit. Fits the gear very well, although I wish the shoulder straps had more adjustability to fit my body better for longer hikes. It's a minor nuisance, but loaded down, this bag likes to slide off my shoulders a bit unless the sternum strap is attached. I absolutely love this bag for it's features. I currently have full size SLR, a 70-200, 18-35, external flash, battery charger and iPad that I regularly carry. The modular storage compartment cannot be beat. Really like the ability to attach my tripod onto the daisy chains outside too. Last weekend, I carried all of this for four hours throughout a zoo and the pack performed very wellDate published: 2017-05-05Rated 5 out of 5 by KPMora from Great, so far! I have been waiting for this bag since Lowepro announced it and it has lived up to my expectations (so far). I needed a bag to carry my two Canon 6Ds with 24-105 and f/4 70-200 for an upcoming trip to Indonesia and Borneo. This bag fits both bodies, with lenses attached. It is solidly and thoughtfully built, there are lots of little things about this bag that I find myself saying, "wow, that makes sense, I am glad they thought of that." (i.e., the built-in rainfly will come in handy for Borneo). There are plenty of pockets, straps, and dividers, so you can load this thing to your own preference. Although I haven't used it for an extended period of time yet, I am confident it will satisfy all the criteria I was looking for in a travel bag. I opted for the 350 AW model because it fits the gear that I need to bring, not the gear that I want to bring with me. The 350 AW forces me to leave the unnecessary gear at home and allows me to enjoy traveling without burdening my back. It is inconspicuous and doesn't scream, lots of valuable photo gear inside and can be worn on the chest during transit without impeding movement. Very impressed thus far!Date published: 2014-11-10Rated 5 out of 5 by The Tactical Photographer from Raging fire? No problem! I've owned a lot of camera bags, but this is the most ruggedly built bag I've ever seen. Less than a month after buying my ProTactic, my car caught fire after a wedding shoot. The bag spent 20 minutes in a burning car then got sprayed with fire hoses and nothing inside was damaged. If you subject your gear to extreme conditions, this is the bag for you! As for features, I LOVE the webbing on the back! I love customizing the bag. However, I'm not sure why it isn't standard MOLLE. That would make it easier to add my MOLLE pouches, but it works as-is. I only have one real complaint with this backpack. The side pockets are almost useless. They are way too small. I can fit my earbuds and business card holder in one and some USB cables in the other. Not even my phone or my keys fit. I'd love to see larger, more usable external pockets on future editions of this bag. If it had larger external pockets and standard MOLLE webbing, it would be the perfect bag.Date published: 2017-05-02Rated 4 out of 5 by Montanaimages from A lot to like There is a lot to like, but my review will focus on the one major thing I don't like. The webbing strips that run horizontal across the pack are for accessory attachment. You would think that gives you many options for attachment of the tripod holder, water bottle holder, adjustable straps, or if you are like me, other Lowepro item. This isn't the case. The webbing is stitched to the pack so that there are only certain spots wide enough to attach an accessory. So don't think you can center the tripod holder, it must be of to a side. I find this frustrating as it makes for an off center loaded pack. I wish the waist belt was a little more substantial and a little more pad in the shoulder straps.Date published: 2016-11-07Rated 5 out of 5 by Micheal_S from Great Bag I bought this bag for going into the city, and going around town on my bike. So far it has exceeded my expectations. Its slip lock system is amazing for holding extra gear and accessories . It has been especially great compared to my transit 250 which got small after I got my flash. I have been going to a lot of high school football games and it's amazing for switching lenses with its four entrance points.Date published: 2015-12-20Rated 5 out of 5 by Maxwell from Great Overall Bag I got this bag before my trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons national parks, while there the bag was big enough to carry all my things, but small enough to comfortably be on my lap for the hours in the car. The weather was great except for one day in the Grand Tetons, I was hiking and got caught in a thunderstorm that lasted for 2 hours I simply put on the rain cover and the bag was perfectly dry after the 2 hours of strom. I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a sturdy bag that will lastDate published: 2015-11-26

I need the bag for a Canon 5DSR with a f2.8L 70-200mm through side access and a Canon 5D Mark IV with a f2.8L 24-70 through top access. Nothing else. I have a Lowepro ProTatic 350 AW and I am trying to find additional accessory bags and attachment straps for this bag. Are those sold by Lowepro or can you suggest another source? ThanksI believe so. I can fit my Canon 1DX MKII camera with Canon EF 24-70 F2.8L MKII or 70-200 F2.8L IS MKII lenses attached. There is also enough room for 13 Inch MacBook Air Laptop in the upper pocket the Lowepro Pro Tactic 350 AW Backpack. Can i fit a canon 6d With battery grip and a 24-105 attached in this bag ? M mainly concern is about the body with the grip :)No, your body with grip would require the larger 450 AW.Date published: 2017-09-19
Would the 350 hold: Nikon D500+grip, Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5, Nikon 24-120mm f/4, Nikon 70-200mm f/4 and the Nikon 300mm f/4 PF? I have the 450 for my other gear and love it...No. The ProTactic 350 AW would be too small.Date published: 2017-08-30
Will the ProTactic 350 AW accomodate a Nikon D800, or do you have a smaller one that will accomodate my Nikon? The ProTactic 350 AW would suit your D800 unless you have the optional battery grip attached; in which case the 450 AW would be better suited.Date published: 2017-09-17
