S&F Lens Exchange Case 200 AW (Black) is rated out of 5 by 11.Rated 5 out of 5 by pnevesfoto from incredibly fast the task of exchanging lenses as a photographer of music and stage shows, I often have to change lenses during the show, or because I'm on stage and I need a wide angle or because I go down and I need a telephoto zoom ... I use in combination with the belt S & F Deluxe Technical Belt and this kit is the best solution for professionals who need mobility and practicality. I usually work with 3 lenses: 8-16 f :3.5-5 .6 / 17-55 f: 2.8 / 70-200 f: 2.8 and as sometimes I use a 120-400 f :4.5-5 .6, which has a considerably large size and these bags fulfill my needs completely. is really fast and safe the task of changing lenses because we can put a lens in the bag while safely hold the camera with the other hand.Date published: 2013-09-15Rated 4 out of 5 by PhotoSME from Excellent Flexable Lens Bag I bought this when it first came out on a whim. Turned out to be a smart decision. Instead of carrying two lens cases, one with a lens and one empty since it was on my camera, I know carry one lens case. Quality of materials is excellent, quality of construction is excellent, and it's very flexible to work with different lens sizes. I have used it to carry a 70-200mm F/2.8 Nikkor, 105mm Nikkor macro, 55-300mm Nikkor Zoom lens. Works just fine. The long tele is a tight fit but it works really well. Like the pocket for filters and the stretch webbing on the front which tilts forward. Really great product that holds the lens securely when your changing lens.Date published: 2013-09-16Rated 4 out of 5 by realistgva from Brilliant concept just a little small I am pro team sports and wedding photographer and the lens exchanger is on the small size side for me. It still works but is a bit of a hassle. I usually carry a 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8 or 70-400 f4-5.6. They do fit individually but having both of them in there at the same time is a major hassle. Usually I just swap them hand held and not by dropping them as intended. With smaller lenses it works just fine. Suggestions to make it better add a mesh pocket to the front of it. and a loop for a pen on either side of the bagDate published: 2013-09-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Thomas from Great Idea, Executed Well This case is so simple but so effective - does make you wonder why you never thought of it yourself! As a concert photographer, I'm often changing lenses and have nothing but security barriers or the stage to put the other lens on, neither of which I'd consider "safe". I swap between two main lenses so I've no need to carry a lot of gear; while I'm working I only need my camera and this case. No bulk at all, so much easier in the small area I have to work in. For festivals, I add it to the Light Utility Belt with a couple of cases for a flash and another small lens, and I can work all day without any aches or pains. Build quality is typical Lowepro - if you've bought any bag in the past ten years from them you'll know they're on top of their game already, and this is no different. The only criticism I have is that you can't really use it in conjunction with a lens hood. A 70-200 f2.8 goes in fine with the lens hood reversed, but when I need to change fast I don't have the time to swap the hood round as well. I get by with it (I put it in backwards, with the lens hood sticking out the top) but ideally it'd be nice if the bag were a little longer to accommodate this, or at least if the top flap could stretch/flex a bit more. Otherwise, an excellent addition to my S&F collectionDate published: 2013-09-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Frankie1956 from Best thing I ever did for lens! This product is awesome on all levels but whoever designed this concept of "piggybacking" to change lenses...is off the charts. The only thing I would love to see it a taller pouch for a slim batter pack but I understand why it was designed as it is. Great job and very pleased.Date published: 2013-10-07Rated 5 out of 5 by Sam in Texas from Great "Extra Hand" for Changing Lenses I've had this for several years, now, and I use it extensively with the S&F Deluxe Tactical Belt and the S&F Water Bottle holder. I shoot college football games, high school mountain bike races, off-road triathlons, and trail runs, and I don't want to carry my full bag with me. But, I still need to change lenses, quite often. This gives me a good way to carry a second lens and allows for an easy way to switch out lenses without setting anything down on the ground or elsewhere.Date published: 2017-05-22Rated 5 out of 5 by smperle from Can't imagine life before I got this I've had this for a couple of years now and I can't imagine life before I bought this lens exchange case. The number of times I almost dropped a lens trying to change lenses but never again.Date published: 2017-05-03Rated 5 out of 5 by CappinDenver from Versatile and durable Great upgrade from the case that came standard with my 70-200. The exchange case extension comes in handy if you have the case on a belt or shoulder strap. The AW cover is pretty bomber.Date published: 2017-05-03
